The organizers of the Untold and Neversea music festivals, two of the most important in the country, will organize events in Poiana BraÈov, a hill station in central Romania.
The BraÈov local council approved on September 29 an agreement with the organizers of Untold and Neversea for a series of events, held throughout the year, the town hall of BraÈov announcement.
The agreement aims to make Poiana BraÈov “the most important mountain resort for young people in Europe and not only”. The events would help Poiana BraÈov attract visitors outside of the winter season and during the week, while providing entertainment options for residents of BraÈov.
Grouped under the name of Massif, the events will take place throughout the year, with two music festivals headlining. A festival takes place in winter and âwill mix skiing and electronics, dance, trance and experimental musicâ. The other is planned for the summer, combining “entertainment and leisure for several days”.
If the epidemiological situation allows it, the first Massif festival is scheduled for February / March 2022.
Untold organizes the Untold festival in Cluj-Napoca and Neversea in ConstanÈa. The massif will be adapted to the conditions and characteristics of BraÈov – Poiana BraÈov, organizers said.
Untold is also working on a festival in TimiÈoara, scheduled for 2023, when the city will hold the title of European Capital of Culture, according to the same press release.
