King’s X released their first new music in 14 years, a song called “Let It Rain”.

The title comes from their next album three sides of onewhich will arrive on September 2. Listen to “Let It Rain” below.

“When I think about it, King’s X is like a couple of old best friends getting together, flipping shit and having a good time; it’s instinctive,” Ug Pinnick bassist and vocalist said in a statement. “When I was listening to Jerry’s demo tapes [Gaskill] and Ty [Tabor] for the record, it gave me a great perspective on how lucky I am to be in King’s X. What they did on three sides of one sounded so good. As familiar as it is, it’s like I’m in a new band.

Guitarist Tabor added: “This time we sat down, listened to everyone’s ideas and collectively said to ourselves, ‘Let’s work on this. It was the most enjoyable album I’ve personally ever recorded in my entire life, period. Meanwhile, drummer Gaskill said, “I will treasure what we did in my heart forever. Everything lined up perfectly. »
