Jan Blomqvist and Bloom Twins share SOFI TUKKER remix “High On Beat”

Legendary duo SOFI TUKKER have remixed Jan Blomqvist and Bloom Twins’ latest single, ‘High On Beat’, now available through Armada Music.

The single was originally written by an amazing team including Jan Blomqvist (a legend of the house and techno scene), Guy Gerber and Flower twins themselves. The twins have worked with several big names in the industry, including Diplo, Zhu, Purple Disco Machine, Elderbrook, Ben Bohmer, will.i.am, Katy Perry, Laura Pergolizzi, Duran Duran, Seal, Nile Rodgers and Lenny kravitz, to only cite a few.

SOFI TUKKER are a Florida-based platinum-certified duo whose single ‘Best friend‘featured in an advertisement during Apple’s iPhone X unveiling, while’drinker‘received the ARIA Platinum Award and was nominated for a Grammy at the 2017 Grammy Awards. In December 2018, their LP Treehouse was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance / Electronic Album.

Famous electronics producer Jan Blomqvist is based in Berlin and has been featured on internationally renowned Youtube channels The Boiler Room, Cercle, MrDeepSense and AnjunaDeep, contributing to its game count of over 121 million across all platforms.

Born in Ukraine, just outside of Kiev, and based in London, on Flower twins (a.k.a Anne and Sonya kuprienko) are well known in the industry. Their recent collaboration, ‘Dream‘starring Grammy Award-winning icon Benny Benassi was released earlier this year on Ultra Records. The convincing track ‘Love me now‘premiered on Hunger TV and was selected by jewelry giant Pandora for their global online campaign, in which the twins also starred. Bloom Twins also appeared in a special performance on TED Talks.

Flower twins have been featured in a wide range of publications including The Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Independent, Wonderland, WWD, Numero, Vogue (Italy, Russia & Japan), iD Mag, VICE, V Magazine , Hunger, Paper Magazine, FLAUNT, Clash Magazine, Your EDM and Tatler. Bloom Twins has been recognized by the BBC as Game Changers on social media alongside Kylie Jenner and Natasha Ndlovu, as well as on BBC Two’s News Night and BBC Introducing.

When writing, producing and recording, Flower twins tap into some of their biggest influences such as Amy Winehouse and Thom Yorke. However, much of the power of the Twins’ music comes from the energy and feedback they receive from their fans when they perform live. With the latter SOFI TUKKER remix of ‘High on Beat‘, we remember artists like Nora En Pure, Rufus Du Sol and Eli & Fur.

With its progressive tones and hypnotic rhythm, the latter SOFI TUKKER remix, takes the listener to the dance floor with its irresistible rhythms. While remaining true to Jan BlomqvistOriginal style, the track plunges to deeper depths with a catchy bassline that makes endorphins fly. In a few moments, you are on the beat!

SOFI TUKKER tell us about the creation of the remix: “We became friends with the Bloom Twins after sitting next to them at a fashion show. We started to exchange stuff and we knew immediately after hearing those voices that it was a special song. We did this remix in our mid-forties, so we got to play it a lot in our DJ sets. He’s still leaving and has become a true fan favorite. We like it. And love them!
