It’s been over two years since the release of his last album, but Jason Ross hasn’t forgotten the fans who made him so special.
Beloved in electronic music circles for his inimitable blend of melodic bass, trance and progressive house, Ross has announced his upcoming second album ATLAS. The LP, says Ross, is an ode to the fiercely supportive faction of fans who tuned in to his weekly “Atlas” live streams during the pandemic.
“While writing this album, I kept coming back to the idea of ’home’ and what that means to me,” Ross said of ATLAS in an Instagram post. “Over the past few years, ‘Atlas’ has become a staple not only for my fans, but also for myself. The community started to grow during quarantine and my weekly Atlas live streams and became a thriving community. right to dedicate this album to all of you.”
Release scheduled for August 5, 2022, ATLAS follows the 2020s 1000 faces, Ross’ scintillating debut album. The latest preview for the album came last Friday with “Take You Home,” an upcoming Stentorian bass track produced alongside MiTiS and frequent collaborator Dia Frampton. This is the second single to be released from ATLAS after “Hate This Kind of Love” (with HOLT).
