Kanye West has been regarded by fans as an innovator since entering the music scene nearly two decades ago. The Grammy-winning rapper got into fashion with his clothing and footwear brand Yeezy and other business ventures. Since the death of his mother, Donda West, in 2007, he has taken several occasions to pay tribute to her.

Now, West seems to be sinking deeper into the tech world. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, it is preparing to create an Apple-like tech empire.
From Donda the products he seeks to create are smartwatches, smart glasses, wearable activity trackers and protective covers for tablets. He also wants to create wireless receivers in the form of jewelry and smart rings.
The company will also produce downloadable electronic publications, including books, magazines, journals, brochures, flyers, leaflets and newsletters, all related to music and entertainment news.

We don’t know when West is Donda a range of technological products will be launched. But it wouldn’t be West’s first business venture to bear his late mother’s name.
Before her death, Donda West herself was the managing director of West Brands, the parent company of her son’s businesses. In 2012, he launched the production company DONDA, which he said at the time would “pick up where Steve Jobs left off”. DONDA was conceptualized as “a design company that will galvanize amazing thinkers into a creative space to bounce their dreams and ideas” with the “aim of creating products and experiences that people want and can afford”.
“There is no room for shyness,” she told Jet magazine in 2007, months before her death. “I raised it that way, to think critically and analytically and not be afraid to express how you feel. I helped shape this. I think leaders are people who have to do it.
