Dutch singer-songwriter Melody Joyce has called on Platinum-certified electronic dance music duo Going Deeper for a scintillating remix of their latest single, “Won’t Give Up.”
Joyce’s original track is stunned indie pop, but the Russian duo turned it into a thrilling dance performance that could work in both clubs and on the radio. Going Deeper employs future house-inspired synths here, adding an airy element to the chorus to complement the dynamic nature of the lyrics. The power of Joyce’s voice is just as clear as in her original, repurposed in a new kinetic arrangement.
Hailing from Kampen and raised in the Canary Islands, Joyce has released over 20 singles to date, including three as a featured artist, and ten music videos. She has worked to develop her own unique dance-pop style since the age of 19, when she started traveling and singing at stops along the way. She kicked off 2021 by signing with Total Freedom Recordings and releasing her single “Insecure”, a collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer StoneBridge. This track continued to receive spins on SiriusXM’s coveted BPM channel.
