Printworks London forced to cancel rest of its 2021 events
Due to Europe being in the midst of its darkest days fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, mega-club Printing in London has made the heartbreaking decision to cancel the rest of its events for 2021.
In a recent public statement, Printworks explained its reasoning for the shutdown; you can read the full statement below:
Dear guests,
Due to the current state of public health, we have assessed the potential impact of the shows on our guests, staff, artists and partners. Considering the time of year, it is also important to consider the potential impact on festive celebrations for individuals and families, especially those who have been affected in the past year.
For this reason, we had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone the Printworks shows for this weekend. The well-being of those who frequent our place and those who frequent our place and those who work in our place is of paramount importance to us.
The following shows will be rescheduled in our SS22 season;
Gorgon City presents Olympia will now take place on Friday 11e March 2022
LWE presents From Our Minds will now take place on saturday 26e February 2022
Existing tickets will automatically switch to the rescheduled date. For those who cannot attend the new dates, you will shortly receive alternative options from your ticket suppliers, including refunds.
As the situation evolves, we will continue to review our position.
We wish everyone a safe and healthy holiday season.
The Printworks team in London.
This comes shortly after the Netherlands’ announces to cancel all events until at least January 14, completely excluding New Years celebrations. NYE alarm clocks was to welcome personalities like Adam beyer, Joris Voorn and Maceo Plex in Amsterdam; this leaves many other European countries with difficult decisions to make just before the holiday season.
While Printworks has had to cancel its remaining 2021 events, we hope events can unfold with more certainty in 2022.
