Rammstein may have used the downtime caused by the pandemic to complete a new album for a lot less time than it usually takes – less than two years instead of ten – but they’re keeping it tight, perhaps waiting to be able to run properly again (currently scheduled for 2022).
For now, fans will have to settle for a new song from Emigrate, the side project led by Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe, their first new music since the 2018 album. A million degrees. And you know what? I use the word “settle†lightly, because the track is pretty good… more direct rock than Rammstein, but with some of the same hardened and electronic elements, and naturally with a big giant hook.
