Hancock-based Americana singer-songwriter Chris Ross takes the stage in Camden on Friday, and you can also stream the show from the Camden Opera House Facebook page. He leads the band Chris Ross and The North, but it will be a one-man show, which Ross says will be more of a “listening room” experience. You’ll hear songs and some stories from the artist who was New England Music’s 2014 Songwriter of the Year and wrote songs like ‘The Long Way’, ‘Mostly Sober’ and ‘You Oughta Be “.

Singer-songwriter Kris Delmhorst’s discography dates back to the late 90s. In 2020 she released the album “Long Day in the Milky Way” and last year the three-song EP “Light Breaks Through”. She has carved out a distinct sound in the American indie landscape with eloquent lyricism and a clear, suave voice. Expect an intimate and engaging performance in Brownfield.

“Moral Hygiene”, released last October, is the 15th studio album by iconic industrial metal band Ministry, fronted by vocalist Al Jourgensen. Ministry is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of their album ‘The Mind Is A Terrible Thing’, which is home to scorching hits like ‘Burning Inside’, ‘Thieves’ and ‘So What’. The show has two notable openings: rock band Melvins and metal band Corrosion of Conformity. Be ready to bump your head with enthusiasm.
